Alternative Livelihood initiative for Jatka Fishers

Upliftment of Socio-economic condition of the poor jatka fishers is the prime goal of the project.
Objectives ObjectivesTo implement Government fisheries policy 1990.
• To form male and female group separately..
• To conduct training on leadership management and skill development for fishing community.
• To increase productivity through utilization of local resources efficiently and effectively.
• To identify alternative IGAs for fishing community.
• To provide loan to the jatka fishers
