Rehabilitation of Non-Motorized Transport Pullers and Poor Owners (RNPPO)

The project has the objective to rehabilitate and bring about socio-economic development of those non-motorized transport pullers and poor owners who been prohibited by the government from pulling their non-motorized transports in the Mirpur Road of Dhaka (from Gabtoly to Azimpur). The organized groups have the opportunity to avail credit support and skill training, entrepreneurship development training and training on awareness raising.

As on June, 2010 the following areas have been covered and activities have been accomplished by the project: Branch 9 under Dhaka Districts.
